We ship only on Monday - Wednesday’s to try to avoid wax melting in the heat, and in hot warehouses and delivery vehicles over the weekend!
Shipping In Warm Weather
Please use caution when ordering wax products during periods of high heat. Our natural wax blends can begin to soften or melt at temperatures around 115°F — conditions that may occur during heatwaves or while packages are in transit, especially inside delivery vehicles or non-insulated storage facilities where temperatures can climb even higher.
To help protect your order, we package candles and wax products with thermal bubble wrap. However, even with preventative measures, there is always a risk of melting, damage, or changes in appearance caused by extreme heat. Our products should also never be left outside or in direct sunlight after delivery, as they may melt. For these reasons, refunds cannot be given for candles that arrive melted.
Damaged/Lost Packages & Filing A Claim
All orders are packed with great care before leaving our studio. Once a package is transferred to the shipping carrier, they are responsible for handling and delivery.
- Damaged Packages: If your order arrives opened or damaged, please contact us through our contact page within 24 hours of receiving it. Be sure to keep all original packaging and contents, and take clear photos of the damage. Carriers may require this for claims and may ask you to bring the package to your local post office for review. Please note: refunds are not guaranteed, as approval is at the discretion of the carrier.
- Lost Packages: If tracking shows your order as “delivered” but you have not received it, you will need to contact the carrier directly using your tracking number. We cannot replace or refund packages marked as delivered.
- Filing a Claim: Claims can be submitted through the USPS or UPS website. Each carrier has its own filing deadlines and requirements, including proof of value, insurance, and photos of damage. Claims should be filed immediately if your order arrives damaged or with missing contents.
- Important: Please track your package closely to ensure someone is available to receive it at delivery. Packages left unattended outdoors are at risk of theft or heat damage, which we are not responsible for.
Incorrect Addresses, Shipping Fees & Customs Fees
Please DOUBLE CHECK your address when purchasing an item. Addresses may not be able to be changed once placed, but please contact us immediately if this happens. We are not responsible for any packages that are sent back to us due to a customer using an incorrect address.
Please understand that the contents of packages are more susceptible to damage if a package is shipped out, returned to sender, and shipped back out again—so please triple check your address. Packages will not be re-sent out before postage is re-paid.
Any charges, customs duties, import fees, taxes etc. are the obligation of the customer. Sweet Tulip Candle Co. is not responsible nor will we be held liable for fees post-shipment. If these fees are not paid by the buyer and a package is returned to us, you will be required to pay a 30% restocking fee if the product is not wanted, or a second shipping fee to reship your package.
Customers choosing not to repay shipping or the restocking fee who do not respond to emails will be blacklisted from making future purchases. Packages will not be re-sent out before postage is re-paid.
General Shipping/Handling Info

Handling: Please allow 5–10 business days for processing. Business days do not include weekends or holidays. We do not combine packages. Each order is sent with a tracking number and insurance. Excess shipping and handling fees are refunded. Local pickup shipping fees are refunded once we meet for pickup.

United States orders: At this time, we only ship within the continental U.S. Please allow an additional 1–2 weeks after processing for delivery via USPS. Orders over $125 will require signature confirmation upon delivery.
